Grilled Bok Choy

We have been trying to broaden our vegetable horizons, and so I discovered Bok Choy. I have become obsessed. I have had it sauteed in the pan previously, but I think I have found the best way yet to have it; grilled.
This was super simple to make, required very little prep, but man, was it delicious.
First I sliced the bok choy down the middle, and rinsed them off. Then placed them on a baking sheet and patted them dry with a paper towel.

Next, I made the sauce for the bok choy. I used, a stick of butter, olive oil, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and salt and pepper.

I melted the butter, added about a tablespoon of olive oil, and then measured the seasonings with my heart. You want it to be colorful and to smell flavorful.
Once you have created the sauce, grab a basting brush to rub the sauce on the vegetables. If you don't have one, you can always use a spoon or even your hands. You want to spread it into all the nooks and crannies. Making sure to flip it over and coat both sides.

When you have completed that, they are ready to go onto the grill. We cooked ours on a charcoal grill. Grill until slightly charred and tender at the stalk.
