This recipe was found in the kids cookbook Baking Class by Deanna F. Cook. Let's get right into it. 2 cups of flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon salt 5 tablespoon cold butter 3/4 cup milk Mix the dry ingredients together. Homemade Butter
I think that this was the easiest yet messiest thing I have done in a while. However, it was incredibly worth it. All you need to make homemade butter is whipping cream. I used a stand mixer to turn the whipping cream to whipped cream, and then into butter and buttermilk. Don't make the mistake I did and add too much whipping cream to your stand mixer - it gets MESSY! I would start with a pint of whipping cream and mix on high. It will turn into whipping cream after about 5 m

Today, I'll guide you through the process of making mushroom risotto. I've been preparing this dish for years. When I initially discove

Hot Honey Chicken
In our household, it can often be hard to find recipes that everyone actually likes; this is a household favorite. When I can get my daughter to sit down and eat without interruption, well, that review speaks for itself! This recipe is based on one found on Cheff Recipes . First things first: let's gather our ingredients. This meal is such a good one because it is inexpensive; most of the ingredients we used I already had in the house. Note: I made a double batch because my c

Tomato Basil Soup
When I found this recipe, I truly didn't like tomato soup. My husband on the other hand, loved it, so I thought I would give it a try. Boy, I am glad I did. Not only is this recipe easy, it is delicious. This is probably one of my favorite cold weather meals to make. I use a dutch oven to make this soup, but you could use any pot that you have, i'm sure it would turn out just as good. I also use a hand immersion blender, but you can use a food processor or a blender as well.
